A state is obliged to protect the individuals and all living things living on it based on international law.

The fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals are guaranteed by the 1982 Constitution.

In response to any violation of rights and freedoms within the scope of the Constitution, applications are made to the Constitutional Court and, when necessary, to the European Court of Human Rights.
